We are a Scottish based charity set up to provide young people between the ages of 14 to 17 with a year long one-to-one befriending and mentoring service.

Working closely with local businesses, schools and recreational clubs, DAY1 can provide a wide range of new experiences and opportunities for young people to discover a positive direction in their lives.

Each young person, all of whom will be experiencing tougher times than most, will be mentored in such a way as to encourage them both to discover and to work towards their true potential.
