You could make a real change in the life of a young person in need.
DAY1 Mentors meet their matched young person once per week for one year. Mentors and young people are matched together on common interests, hobbies and personality.
Since 2005, 93% of young people matched to a DAY1 mentor have achieved a positive destination such as work, further education or training. See Impact

We Mentor our Mentors
Working together we support our young people to achieve success.
Compulsory Mentor training to become a mentor is one and a half days, with optional training evenings as well as mentor support evenings and lunches throughout the year. There are thirty mentors, supported and guided by their matched Lead Mentor.
Mentor Us
All active and graduated young people are invited to join our DAY1 Junior Board of Directors. All active and previous mentors are invited to join our Mentor Junior Board. The two boards meet separately every 12 weeks and help us to develop and evolve the DAY1 mentoring service.
